Dr. Lopez is a native of Los Angeles. She began her career seeing patients in a rehab center in Brea California after receiving her Doctorate Of Chiropractic from The Los Angeles College Of Chiropractic in 1998. Her practice grew rapidly to the point where it was necessary for her to open her own facility. In December 2001, Dr. Lopez opened Stadium Chiropractic & Sports Medicine Rehabilitation. This 3400 square foot state of the art rehabilitation center is centrally located in the city of Orange adjacent to Angels Stadium and offers the best and easiest freeway access of any rehabilitation facility in Orange County. This facility is a multi-disciplinary practice, which includes physical therapy, rehabilitation, massage therapy, occupational therapy, and nutrition.
Dr. Lopez’s success can be attributed to her commitment to providing state of the art care to her patients, thus insuring a timely return to a normal and pain free lifestyle. Dr. Lopez, as well as vital members of her professional staff, are Spanish speakers. As a secondary and primary treating physician, she is well known in her industry for promptly referring her patients to other medical professionals whenever medically necessary, thus insuring the patients needs are met and the cases remain on track.
This commitment is a large reason why her practice has grown to the degree that it has. She believes that for a rehabilitation center to be successful, there must be a balance between the types of patients it attracts. She currently receives referrals from both defense and applicant sources. This healthy balance fits in with her facilities strict policy of conducting all services at the highest of ethical and professional standards. All employees and service providers are expected to adhere to this policy.
Dr. Lopez is active within her community. For the past several years she has volunteered her services to several local law enforcement agencies, assisting them with athletic oriented fund raising and community awareness events throughout the state. She sits as a director for the community group “We Give Thanks” that provides assistance to distressed areas of Orange County. She is a member of the advisory board for the 2002 Police & Fire Games sponsored by the Santa Ana Police department and the volunteer team doctor for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department Baker to Vegas Running Team. She is a volunteer consultant for “Ms. Galaxy” Cynthia Hill and the regional Tri-Fitness Competitions held throughout the United States. She was recently selected as a participant to the Symposium For California Emerging Women Leaders, which is a prestigious statewide mentoring organization.
Dr. Lopez lives in Orange County with her husband Tom Dominguez, who is a member of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department Bomb Squad.
